Revise the policy and procedures which are the foundation of any law enforcement agency. These are the rules and guidelines that direct us as a team in a way that we respond to the challenging situations that arise in the performance of our duties. Think of them as a compass, one that points the department and its personnel to perform in a consistently professional, transparent manner that respects the rights of the stakeholders we serve. Only four constable's offices in Texas are accredited through the Texas Police Chief's Association’s Best Practices Recognition Program. This would provide Brazoria County's Pct. 4 Constable's Office with the best business practices of professional law enforcement and would be used as a basis of determining compliance.
