Platforms

Revise the policy and procedures which are the foundation of any law enforcement agency. These are the rules and guidelines that direct us as a team in a way that we respond to the challenging situations that arise in the performance of our duties. Think of them as a compass, one that points the department and its personnel to perform in a consistently professional, transparent manner that respects the rights of the community we serve.

Fiscal Obligation is a priority. I will work with the budget and make sure it is distributed appropriately out within the Constable's Department. I plan on working with Federal and State programs to obtain grants monies aimed at increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the Constable's Office.

Homelessness and mental health issues have been negelcted in Brazoria County, and recently has become a growing concern for citizens. To address these concerns I will create a team that is specifically trained to assess and determine best course of action to protect all parties involved. As Brazoria County grows the time for law enforcement to adapt to changes that accompany growth is now, and as Constable I will commit to being proactive.
